The La PlataMen's golf team is Coached by Chaz Walgren

 

Walgren is a graduate of Brookfield High School.  Walgren was a 4 year varsity golfer with Tri-Rivers Conference Medalist Honors and Class 2 District Medalist Honors. Coach Walgren was also a 3 year varsity football player receiving Tri-Rivers All Conference Honors and All District Honors.  Walgren continued his career at University of Missouri: Kansas City.  Walgren was acitve with the golf team, Beta Theta Pi, and SGA.  He was the Executive Vice President for the Student Government Association and The Inter Campus Student Council President for the University of Missouri System. Walgren Earned his bachelors degrees in Analytical Clinical Chemistry and Biochem.

 

Coach Walgren currently runs La Plata Junior Golf every Monday from 9am to noon at La Plata Golf Course, and helps with several clinics throughout the state.  Contact him if you would like a week long clinic for your golf program.
